Everything seems to work fine untill it comes time to connect to the internet. now, i'm lame and i only still have dialup. at first, the first connect after a reboot is fine. the next connects after that dont work, and now, no connects at all, work, nto even after fresh reboot.

I've no idea whats wrong here, but i noticed after connecting i get the following under Application Errors, in Event Viewer.

"The COM+ Event System failed to fire the ConnectionMade method on subscription {C5C53145-AE9C-4001-80B8-5C94F3ECC28D}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001."

anybody make heads or tails of this? The only thing i can see about it is somehow the COM+ services got f'ed up. But i dont understand how, this is a fresh install, and my second fresh install, the first one was running good for almost two weeks, then i mysteriously developed a problem where after connecting to DUN, the connection icon would dissapear, and the connection would act as if it wasnt active(Network COnnections displayed it as Disconnected, if i clicked on its icon, it asked me to dial)but i could suerf webpages, or talk on IRC, and in one case, i even played UT online with it like that

but the main problem is the one thats really stumping me....
can anybody help?
