This is a discussion about Dungeon Keeper 2 in the Windows Games category; i am trying to install my dungeon keeper 2 to my xp sp2. as it's installing it stops at 94% of the installing progress and ir then says and error has occured whilst copying files. any ideas of what i should do?.

I followed all of the instructions and I'm having the same problem a couple of others were, in that there is no text in the main menu or anything. After looking around, I can't seem to find the solution to this, so erm... yeah, anyone got one?
It gets annoying having to save every 2 minutes just incase it crashes so I don't have to go back miles in the game.

There should be some command-line switches in the readme where I think you can run the game in 16-bit or 32-bit color. You may want to try those switches.
I tried it without the -32biteverything and it works, but then it still crashes randomly.
Hmm, when you can see the menu try turning off hardware acceleration in the menu and see if that stops it from crashing.
