dungeon keeper 2 update problem
This is a discussion about dungeon keeper 2 update problem in the Windows Games category; greetings, hi everyone. i got a copy of the game called dungeon keeper 2, and i wish to update it to version 1. 70. i downloaded the patch, it is 1. 30 to 1. 70,english, but when i run it, the patch installation says old file not found, but a file with same name was found.

Same problem here! Tried finding a patch to get to 1.3 but couldn't find any. Finding the 1.3 to 1.7 patch was a b*tch kitty too!

I found a solution! It works!
All you have to do is replace your dkii.exe with those
copy you buy from Sold-out net!! Someone named Dave T sent me
the dkii.exe, and i replace it with to my dk2 folder,
and the 170 patch runs smoothly!!
Your dkii.exe originally is 2.8MB,
and the Sold-out copy is 333kb !! See the difference?
Thank Dave T for the file, and anyone can email me
to get it to replace it in your dk2 folder for the
170 patch to run correctly muahahhahaa.

heck, guys, that working 2.8mb exe is the hacked one, the small one ~270k is the safedisc loader for the 2.8mb protected executable
