DVD playback on ati radeon 9250
This is a discussion about DVD playback on ati radeon 9250 in the Windows Hardware category; I recently got rid of my oboard graphics in favour of the 9250 pci card. But DVD playback is really weird on both windows media player and power dvd. I see a still picture, but when I move the window, the dvd picture plays.

I have the latest catalyst drivers and directx 9.0c

Did you disable your onboard graphics through bios?
OP
Well I went to my computer -> manage -> device manager -> display adaptor and I disabled it. It's not there any more under display adaptor so I assume it's disabled.

... disable it (the old video card) in your BIOS or via jumper setting on the motherboard. Then reinstall your DVD software.

OP
I went into the Bios but the only options I have under integrated devices are to use "Auto" or "Onboard". It is currently set to Auto. Onboard forces it to use the intel graphics
How would I go about disabling it by a jumper setting on the motherboard?
