DVD sound problems

This is a discussion about DVD sound problems in the Windows Hardware category; Bought a memorex dvd 1240 yesterday and thought, wahey, ill rent out a couple of films and try it out, so i tried watching the films but i keep on getting a hell of a loud crackling noise when a films playing, i can hear peeps speaking, but not very clearly (damn crackling) Any help ??? thx AMD 1Ghz TbirdA ABIT KT7 ...
