Erasing a Hard-drive

Anyone know of a good hard-disk erase utility. I don't want to just re-format, I want to completely wipe it out then re-format. .

Are you talking, like low-level format? If so, you'll need utilities from your hdd company. DO NOT use another one.

Why do you need to do a heavy erase like that? Covering your hinie?

If you get norton ghost it has a utility called GDISK that will do just that. We used it here at work to do exactly that. DOS command line type thing.

Then you might want to download PGP and use that to do a full wipe (I think it can do that and does a pretty good job too).
