Error in Win2k pro SP4 and SP3

This is a discussion about Error in Win2k pro SP4 and SP3 in the Everything New Technology category; When I try to connect to the net with my dial up after a few minutes I get this error svhost has generated errors and will close then it closes the RPC service and I can´t download updates from microsoft or install any program (all need the RPC service).

When I try to connect to the net with my dial up after a few minutes I get this error "svhost has generated errors and will close" then it closes the RPC service and I can´t download updates from microsoft or install any program (all need the RPC service). Don´t know why this error happens in a clean install of win2k pro and then updated to SP3 or SP4 (full SPs downloaded to my HDD, no express install) ;(
