error message on blue screen

This is a discussion about error message on blue screen in the Customization Tweaking category; I hope somebody can help me with this one. I am unable to install windows xp as i keep getting a stop error message on a blue background. The message is as follows: STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x80845B83, 0xF9E84FA4, 0x00000000) Please help!.

could be anything, diable all bios caching and shadowing options in bios, check if ur ram is ok by enabling ram test in bios....finally, check if ur windows xp media is not corrupt or anything...
