Error Message with whistler 2428--HELP

This is a discussion about Error Message with whistler 2428--HELP in the Windows Hardware category; when I start my setup of whistler i get this message Windows whistler setup cannot detect the version of windows you are currently running. Step up cannot continue. My version is Windows ME 4. 90. 3000 (upgraded from Win98 to Windows ME) Does anyone know why i get this message.

when I start my setup of whistler i get this message "Windows whistler setup cannot detect the version of windows you are currently running. Step up cannot continue."

My version is Windows ME 4.90.3000
(upgraded from Win98 to Windows ME)

Does anyone know why i get this message
