2. Is most likely something to do with your Creative software. Probably that media detection program it loads in startup. Uninstall Liveware and install liveware 3.

Thx for that site ... as for the LW, I already have LW3 installed, when I installed it, it did the uninstall of what I had before, should I uninstall more thoroughly somehow or was that fine? I've been getting that error since I can remember ... that media detecting program runs fine ... Thanks for your help!
