Exchange Groupshield Registry Bloat
HKEY_USERS\. Default\software\microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles is populated with many MAPI profiles on a Exchange Server with no MAPI Clients. Problem may have appeared since groupshield was installed, but we can't be sure.

Registry bloats enormously - in a few cases taking up over the registry size limit we had set.
Workaround is to increase registry size. We have deleted the registry keys on one server just to see what happens.
system32\config\default (registry hive file in question) appears to reduce in size when we delete on a test system, but not on the live server.
Exporting the hive, recovery console and replacement with exported reduces reg size, but not sure what causes the issue in the first place.
Previous occurence on this forum is EX5.5 from 2003. We have EX2000. All points to groupshield as cause, but not sure why or how. Any ideas anyone?
