Hi,

I want to purchase an external CD writer in order to save digital photoes from my PC to CD ROM.

I have Windows NT4 O/S and this seems to be proving difficult.

I am a bit of a novice when it comes to these things - and find all the jargon with these products hard to follow!!

Can anyone recommend an easy to use product? I have USB.

The writer will need to enable me to both save my photoes to CD ROM and view them later.

Can you help??

Thanks Butler.

Unfortunately NT4 has no USB support so you're not going to have any luck there. Firewire is a possibility but I'm not sure if NT4 supports that either (I don't think it does). Parallel->SCSI converters (and then placing an internal CD-ROM drive into and external SCSI box) are another possibility but one that I doubt will come cheap. Without an OS upgrade (to Windows 2000 at least), your options are extremely limited I'm afraid.
