i got a ssi (www.ssi.com.tw) usb to ide case that doesn't work at all as intended (Model is SI-378, http://www.ssi.com.tw/cgi-bin/pdmsch.cgi?id=8&pdid=221&action=showpd).
I tried it under Windows 98/ME/2k with the drivers shipped with the device, drivers from the manufacurer's homepage as well as with the chipset manufacturer's (cypress/scanlogic) drivers (www.scanlogic.com). all that i tried only resulted in an unknown device in device manager or an non working device.
i also tried with different harddisks inside.
anyone experience how to get it to work ?
