Falcon IV with RC2

Falcon IV is running great using the Direct setting except whenever I try to exit a game, not the app, I get a black screen. Going to Taskman, two things are running. . . Direct and Exclusive mode, both not responding.

Falcon IV is running great using the Direct setting except whenever I try to exit a game, not the app, I get a black screen. Going to Taskman, two things are running...Direct and Exclusive mode, both not responding. Turn them off and I get an error message that Set Exclusive Mode Failed. Does anyone know what this is and/or how to fix?

I have the same prob, but I'm using RC3. I downloaded the 1.08 update and installed that with no difference.

Oh forgot to mention, when starting the game, it says missing glide2.dll or something like that, but isn't that a voodoo related driver?

We're just gonna hve to wait for a 2000 patch man.

Hi rmeek and Ekstreme, the fix you need is called F4DX. You can get it at following addess. Don't worry, the site is french, just look for F4DX and you're all set.
Falcon 4 works great with it, no more crashes to the desktop after missions!!! Enjoy.

Ohw another thing, for the voodoo error: delete the file "GR3DFX.MPR" in your main falcon dir and the error will be gone.
