Fallout 2 installation help

When run the setup. exe , I get a screen res change, and then a solid blue screen (not a BSOD) then nothing. I've got the UK version if that makes a difference.

I just picked up Fallout 2 and can't install it under windows 2000.
When run the setup.exe , I get a screen res change, and then a solid blue screen (not a BSOD) then nothing.
I've got the UK version if that makes a difference.
Fallout 2 is listed as working under 2K by :
"When installing, run _setup.exe instead of setup.exe "
On my CD there is no _setup.exe (nor is one created in a temp dir or where ever when running the setup.exe ).
Any advice appreciated.
