FF7 Black Screen with no video

This is a discussion about FF7 Black Screen with no video in the Windows Games category; I have a problem playing final fantasy 7. Whenever I start the game, it would show this black screen and I would hear the music. Then it forces the game to close during the song. I tried the 1. 2 and the 1.

I have a problem playing final fantasy 7. Whenever I start the game, it would show this black screen and I would hear the music. Then it forces the game to close during the song. I tried the 1.2 and the 1.4 patch, it didn't really work. Here are my system properties:

ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200
AMD Turion 64 Mobile 2.0ghz
1.5 gb of ram
RealTek HD Audio
