FF7 on Windows XP SP2

This is a discussion about FF7 on Windows XP SP2 in the Windows Games category; Ummm. . . yeah, I suck at computers. I have Windows XP SP2 and was wondering if FF7 plays at all on SP2. I was able to install FF7 successfully, but the game doesn't start up when I put in a CD. I've installed the Chocobo patch and the 1.

Ummm...yeah, I suck at computers. I have Windows XP SP2 and was wondering if FF7 plays at all on SP2. I was able to install FF7 successfully, but the game doesn't start up when I put in a CD. I've installed the Chocobo patch and the 1.02 patch already.
 
My system specs are:
 
Windows XP 5.1 SP2
Avance '97 Studio
Radeon 9200
DirectX 9.0
