Well i has been something like... months i've been trying to get my hands on the game and, a week ago, i finally did, after a hell lot of search, inquiring friends, and two long weeks of slow download from the bitchtorrent... but, of course, it couldn't end there. I managed to find a crack which would work with xp and upside-down patch, but there's what happens:

After opening the game, it shows a black screen. I suppose that's when it would show the first cg, but then, i press esc, and it goes to the main menu. Then i chose 'new game', and it shows a screen with a picture of the pink flower girl [which i forgot the name] looking at some kind of flying device, and written below: Insert Disc 1. Fine, i did, but the game won't go any further...

I suspect it could be some difference [whichever] from my cd to the original one [mine has, on the first screen, a 'ff7' file, and inside it, four files with the supposedly correct data], or simply any other problem.

I ain't that worried about the black screen, but i would really have more fun running cloud around than staring at the pink still girl =|

Anyone can help?

Windows XP, pentium2 533, 112 ram, omboard video[16mega]... i guess that's it

Please, some one gimme a break and help, don't force me to beg :{
