FFVII random crash
This is a discussion about FFVII random crash in the Windows Games category; Alrighty, I havn't quite as bad a deal as many people with Final Fantasy VII crashing in xp, but I still have a problem and am quite put out. I developed a system of leveling up that doesn't require my direct supervision.

I developed a system of leveling up that doesn't require my direct supervision. I leave the computer for long periods of time. When I come back, the game has quit and xp is just running in the background. I get this two out of three times.
I caught it in the act once. It said, "ffVII.exe has had an error" and needed to quit.
I have the normal xp patch, and I know this isn't a game related problem because it ran for hours and hours on win 98. I also was forced to install service pack 2 if that makes any difference.
