Hey all, first post, having some real problems with FF7.
I recently got a new gateway tablet PC, it's cool. I've loaded FF7 to it, and as is the procedure on XP I loaded the FF7 XP patch - including chocobo patch - found the XP Laptop keyboard config patch here, that was way helpful, and finally because I don't want to risk taking my disks with me wherever I go, I got deamon tools and the fake FF7 iso's for the no-cd patch.
Lastly, it fails the 8-bit (or is it 16-bit - iono not at my laptop now - anyway the last item on the pass/fail list in FF7config) so I found a few gfx patches, none of them work though.
My problem is that it loads up to the menu, no intro medi or credits, and I select new game and then nothing, it just goes black and stays that way. I look in task manager and it says it's still running, but nothing ever happens.
Anyone have any suggestions?
