final fantasy 7 sound problem
This is a discussion about final fantasy 7 sound problem in the Windows Games category; hey guys. major problem with my ff7. im running win2k pro and everything works fine. i load the game and it plays the opening theme, but once i get into play after starting a new game there is NO sound.
hey guys. major problem with my ff7. im running win2k pro and everything works fine. i load the game and it plays the opening theme, but once i get into play after starting a new game there is NO sound. when i played i went into clouds menu and went to config and checked the sound and it said not supported. i dont know what is wrong since the opening theme played but in game sound wont. PLEASE HELP

I figured out the problem. Download the Ace MEga Codecs Pack. It's totally free. While installing it, do the custom install, then go through every codec and only select the audio codecs, not the video or any utility crap. If u download every video codec your game won't open, so don't dl the video codecs unless u know you neeed one of them.
Thenn the sound effects will work even though it still says not supported. FX is actually the sound effects.
