FF 7 only requires 2MB of Video RAM so your card should be fine.
Maybe you need to update drivers or use the compatibility mode to get it to work with XP.

OP
i have tried XP compatible thing the 1.4 version and no luck my friend didnt even had to use a compatibility path for it to wrok he has a dell computer i have a custom made computer could that be the problem? the compatibility for the video card is 4MB.they gotta be some part of my system affecting the play could it be that it is not intel this is so annpying audio but no video it has to be something within the video card cause i getting audio i can control most of the stuff only problem is i cant see wha i am doing this is so frustrating i usually figure outthis stuff on my own.
I am having the same problem. I have a Dell Dimension 8400 with a Radeon X300 video card. Have you found a solution to your problem?
