Last summer I upgraded my computer from windows 98 to windows 2K...including HDD, procs, mem, MoBo, Video card blah blah blah...I attempted to use the original PhotoDV/MotoDV firewire card that I purchased for $300. I could not get the card to work at all, so eventually I went and got a $75 fireconnect card from CompUSA. This cheaper card works great in Win2K, however, I cannot use it with photoshop as I could the old one. Has anyone gotten the motodv card to work in win 2K?
Also, while editing in premiere 6.0, while scrolling along video files, I would get a blue screen of death stating that my computer was out of memory. Is that video memory or system memory and is there anyway to prevent that aside from not using that program? ;(
