Firewire Connector to Header (without card)

This is a discussion about Firewire Connector to Header (without card) in the Windows Hardware category; OK. Heres the deal. My case has front panel firewire but the connection requires an internal standard firewire connector. My firewire card does not have this. Has anyone ever seen a connector to go straight from the firewire header to a female standard firewire connector? I hope you all understand.

I hope you all understand. I am not sure I am using the proper lingo.

If worse comes to worse, I can always buy a new card with the internal connector but I don't really want to spend the money.

I've got a similiar problem as you VoilentGreen. Mine however is my sound card has a firwire connection to it but the internal connectors do not match up , jumper-for-jumper with the connector on the front of my case. If anybody has suggestions for this related instance, let me know. Thanks.
