This is a discussion about FireWire on mudaboreds in the Windows Hardware category; hi, im going to buy a ga-7va1394 motherboard from gigabyte. im asuming the firewire on this board is 1394a right? also ive heard you cant stick an athlonxp2800+in this motherboard, although the gigabyte website says you can.
