Need Dual-Boot Win2K & Win98,
Boot.ini only includes Windows 2000 /fastdetect
Tried booting from Win2K CD + using ERD, in Console typed 'fixboot',
Didn't change anything
My setup:
1st Pri Partition - 298.1mb NTFS (Used only for pagefile.sys)
Mapped as T:\ Drive.
2nd Pri Partition - 2674.9mb NTFS (Used for Win2K Install)
Mapped as C:\ Drive
3rd Pri Partition - 1153.1mb FAT32 (Used for Win98 Install)
Mapped as U:\ Drive
4th Pri Partition - 8228.6mb Extended (In 6 Logical Partitions, NTFS, FAT & FAT32)
My Current Boot.ini
[boot loader]
timeout=3
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
multi(?)disk(?)rdisk(?)partition(?)\WIN?="Microsoft Windows 98"
Surely someone here has the same setup and knows what replaces the question marks above
I would really appreciate your help.
Cheers:D

This is my boot.ini file:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
C:\ = "Microsoft Windows Millenium Edition"
Did u install win98 before or after win2k?
Is ur boot partition(c:\) NTFS?

Well, it's just a theory, but you could try to move your swap file to another partition (rebooting, of course) and then formatting that partition as FAT32, then try the repair.
