Floppy Drive

Does anyone know how to disable the floppy drive on shutdown? I am trying to disable it because I want to make shutdown faster. Thanks all!.

Sounds like you have your virus scanner set to scan the floppy at shut down. Look through the options for your virus scanner.

that's exactly what it is, very famous with McAfee products...as if you need to scan the A: drive or something (it's default)
