See I keep getting this error that says this:

-------------------------------------------------------------

C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.
Choos 'close' to terminate the applications

Close Ignore <---- Program terminates anyway ;(

----------------------------------------------------------------

Never had this problem before. It worked fine in Windows Me.

Also what is this compatability tab everybody is talking about.

Its frustrating because, i right click on properties, and I dont have one. And it seems to be the answer in circumstances like this. Well at least by what ive heard.

Ive installed all the lastest updates for Windows 2000 Professional.

What should I do? I love this game, and I would hate to lose the ability to install it on this OS.

Thanks for your time.

In W2K the compatibility mode is not turned on automatically. To get it to work, do the following:
* Click Start
* Click Run
* Type cmd
* cd %systemroot%\AppPatch
* regsvr32 slayerui.dll

That should get you started.

Thanks! I can now access some more features!

But im not sure what to do tho. I changed a few settings in some of the new menus. But I still get the error message.

I noticed that autoexec.nt seems to be the source of the problem...

Do I need to create a new Autoexec file? Maybe take one off of a older O/S?

Thanks! That really helped. I have more options now! Just need to know what to do.

Its just a plain text file. Delete it if its causing problems.
Create a new blank one, if necessary.

Thanks guys I found the problem.

The autoexec.nt file was in located in another place. A folder named "repair."

Anyway I copyed and moved it into the WinNT/system32 directory and its all working now.

Thanks again!
