Games in Win2K
This is a discussion about Games in Win2K in the Windows Games category; Ok, I just found this site recently. I was kinda shocked to see that there were hacks you could do to get most games to work in Win2K. But I can't seem to find those hacks. So could someone here point me to some guides on the common tricks to get games to work in 2K?.

Ok, I saw that list, but it still doesn't help. For example, I have Ground Control but can't get it to work. So what tricks are there that I can try to get it to work? Is there a list somewhere?

Download Application Compatiblity Toolkit.
Open Qfix Apps. Browse to game exe .. Choose "Win95VersionLie.dll"
Run!
Thats it.

Ground control works right out of box with messed up sound. Latest patch fixes it. Always go to Windows update before playing new games.
