gaming problem whit winxp

This is a discussion about gaming problem whit winxp in the Windows Games category; I´m not figuring this out. . . when i´m playing counter-strike the game crashes several times. . . . i always get the same error nvoglnt. dll i have tried every detonator versions. . . . 21. 85,21. 83,21,81 too i really need some help if someone can tell me what the problem is.

At a guess, I would say nvoglnt are the nVidia OpenGL drivers.
Now, never having played CounterStrike before...is there an option to use DirectX instead?

It seems that the XP detonators are quite unstable still. Try using the older Win2000 drivers they have there, they have worked fine for me with WinXP.

I had the same problem. Then i installed the Nvidia 14.10 drivers and now everithing works. Hopes this helps...

well i tryed 12.41 and 14.10 and the problem occurs after some time of playing cs. So my post above is not accurate!
