This is a discussion about Gigabyte 7IXE And Disabled Cache in the Windows Hardware category; OK, I've got a Gigabyte 7IXE and an Athlon 550, and on the post page, reading all the details, I seem to have no cache. It says cache - 512K, Disabled Does anyone out there have any clues? I need help.

I remember awhile back that one of Gigabytes bios updates caused this problem. Download latest bios update and reflash it and then load bios defualt values and change them back accordingly. What version of bios are you using fc..... etc?
