Grandia II launch error?

This is a discussion about Grandia II launch error? in the Windows Games category; i'm revisiting some of my old PC games and when i run Grandia II i never get past the boot screen thing (the screen with all the characters on it) after it loads the games just crashes. anybody know whats wrong with it :x.
