Graphics API
Hey guys, it's me again. I'm also looking for a good Graphics API mainly for graphs and stuff. Basically 2d should be fine, with speed and prints out to the screen rather than to a jpg, gif, etc. Disregarding OpenGL, DirectX, GPI, and wxWindows.

Hi I'm not sure why you're looking to ignore the best graphics languages out there, but you might also take a look at GTK and Scitech MGL http://www.scitechsoft.com/products/embedded/mgl_home.html.
