Graphics card transfer
This is a discussion about Graphics card transfer in the Windows Hardware category; My Mums computer has just come back from the repair shop and i have found out that she has a NVIDEA gfx card, which is what i need to play call of duty. Im wondering if there is any way i could copy it or somehow transfer it so that it is on my mums computer and my computer without corrupting the computers.

Oh yea. I want to try do this from windows xp to windows 98se if thats any help.
I'm trying to figure out exactly what you're trying to do, and as far as I can tell, you mean copying the card itself, which is physically impossible. A video card is not a piece of software that you can copy, paste, and reg hack into being. It is a physical component connected to the motherboard. If you want a nVidia video card, you'll have to buy one suitable to your system, and you will probably have to update to Windows XP if you want the card to work properly, as Windows 98 is no longer supported and nVidia and ATI no longer produce drivers for it.
Unless of course I completely missed what you're asking, please correct me if I'm wrong.
