Hello.

I played JK2 with my older computer and it worked fine. Now with an Atlhon 64 and a GeForce 6800GT I'm having a big problem. It seems that some graphics are not beeing rendered.

For example, near the begining of the game (still in the kejin post) there's this machine with a cristal on it, that, when moved, fires lasers everywhere, cuting the walls. I see the cutting and the explosions, but can't see the laser itself. But I know that it is there because if I move through one, I'm almost instantly killed.

It also seems that some other graphics effects are missing.

OS is Windows XP and the game version is 1.04.

Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

OP
(I remembered this post today from its bookmark!)

Well, no reply so far but its all right! I found the solution some time after.

The thing was the last update I downloaded for JK2, "JKIIUp104.exe", it was said that it "replaced all others that came before". Wring! The other one, that was older and even available in the same page *IS NEEDED*. It was the missing part!

After reinstalling and applying both patches, everything was right and I could see all missing objects.

Hope this helps others!

Good luck!
