Grrrr....Norton Internet Security 2002

I don't get this one. I install it, then after the reboot, my rig never seems to finish it's startup in Windows. I can't do anything in normal mode, and I can't uninstall it from within safemode. The Imperial Star Destroyer is in trouble here.

The only way out I see is with a reinstall or XP, which I'd rather avoid.

It's working great under my other rigj, Samurai Pro, but it's a pain in the neck on my other system.

Well, I went into safe mode and deleted it all. I was then able to uninstall it from within Windows (??!). Now everything works...great.

Hmm. Well, I do have a Promise controller, but my hard drives I had in there were going bad--and that explains quite a bit as far as what I've been experiencing.
