Half Life Problem! Doesn't run on win2000! help
Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with half life on windows 2000 I installed it (half life) and double-clicked the exe (hl. exe) and nothing. I patched it (ver. 1. 1. 1. 0) double-clicked half life.

I installed it (half life) and double-clicked the exe (hl.exe) and nothing.
I patched it (ver. 1.1.1.0) double-clicked half life. and nothing.
can anyone help me? I'm kinda desperate. Thank you.

Apart from making sure your video drivers are up to date, an easy solution is to download the latest Steam Client and create a new account. Register your Half-Life key with the software and you can download the latest version of Half-Life completely patched and up-to-date.

Sorry, I just had to say that
@blinx2003, ross is giving some good advice here and after registering your cd key with Steam, you should make sure your chipset/vga/sound drivers packs are up to date, also make sure you have the latest DirectX 9.0c installed!!!
