Halflife and XP

This is a discussion about Halflife and XP in the Windows Games category; I have a problem w/ playing halflife (DOD) since I put on XP PRO. It installs fine but when I go to update servers it crashes. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Please help!!!!!!!!???.

Have you tried manually downloading the update and then installing it?
