Half-life error

This is a discussion about Half-life error in the Windows Games category; when i try to play half-life counter-strike on my comp runing windows xp or windows 2000 it gives me a error randomly. . . is there anything that can stop this error? it gives me the same error in 2000 to:(.

Ok did you update it and i havn't heard of halflife having driver issues so i dunno

Half Life did not run at all for me with the 21.83 series drivers.
Get the latest 23.11 and then use WinUpdate to get 23.12. Also make sure Half Life is up to date.
