I put windows 2000 on my friends PC, and now he no longer can play Team Fortress on the net. It seems to work if you leave it in normal software video mode, but when you try OpenGL mode it will not. The error message is “Server Time Out” We get this message right after we get accepted on sever. This worked fine on this PC with 98. I have service patch 2, DirectX 8.1, and the latest Nividia Drivers installed also. Updated BIOS on PC too. Could not find any BIOS updates for this video card.

Thanks for any help,

Tom

What about drivers from your chipset manufacturer? (probably VIA or AMD) They should give drivers for AGP/USB/chipset itself/etc
