Hanging while on line
This is a discussion about Hanging while on line in the Windows Software category; hi all, i have an HP w/ a Pentium R 2. 53Gig processor w/ 512 RAM, running XP Home w/ SP1. I have been running Norton's Sys works 2003 and decided to purchase Nortons sys work premier 2005. I went to install it and realized there were only 2 items on the CD that I wanted.

i have an HP w/ a Pentium R 2.53Gig processor w/ 512 RAM, running XP Home w/ SP1. I have been running Norton's Sys works 2003 and decided to purchase Nortons sys work premier 2005. I went to install it and realized there were only 2 items on the CD that I wanted. So instead of rebooting after each, i installed both then did a restart. This was not the thing to do...something went wrong and some settings were sent waaaay back....the system seems to be okay, but when i go online it hangs badly until finally i will get booted.... is there anyone out there who would know what could be causing this and how i fix my poor pc.???

Use Norton's removal tool to remove it and try again:
