has anyone gotten Umax Astra 600P to work??
This is a discussion about has anyone gotten Umax Astra 600P to work?? in the Windows Hardware category; I just put win2k on my pc at work and can't get my scanner to work, it keeps giving me black previews and also makes the scanner sound really LOUD and rough. Just wondering if anybody got it working succesfully, if not then I guess I'll move it to a win98 box and have it set up a server.

heh, scratch that, got it working...though it still makes an extremely loud and annoying noise
