HD not detected
This is a discussion about HD not detected in the Windows Hardware category; A pc I am working on caught a worm virus which modified the reg and won't boot. I tried to format but it said hard drive not detected and won't boot. I formatted it on another PC and when I reinstalled it won't detect the hard drive.
A pc I am working on caught a worm virus which modified the reg and won't boot. I tried to format but it said hard drive not detected and won't boot. I formatted it on another PC and when I reinstalled it won't detect the hard drive. The only way I can get it to detect is if it is on Secondary Master or Slave. Anyone know why it is not detecting under Primary Master??? There is also no jumper for the cmos. Don't asus boards have jumpers to reset???
