Hello again, Quick question, have any of you running Windows XP come across this error when you try to use CHKDSK on your C: drive. Windows was unable to complete the disk check. after it finishes phase 1.

Quick question, have any of you running Windows XP come across this error when you try to use CHKDSK on your C: drive. "Windows was unable to complete the disk check." after it finishes phase 1.
Any reason why?

Can't say I have but perhaps you should try and check the Check for Disk Errors checkbox and the test free space checkbox as this will require a restart and upon restart it will then proceed to check the entire partition. This may take a while so either do it over night or when you go do something else
