Heavy Gear 2 level 4 crash working workaround
Unfortunately no patches or compatability setting tweaking works. Play the level through and after it crashes restart the game then start the level. Press tilde ¬ type set mission press enter the mission is completed by the cheat code and you go onto mission 5.
