Heavy Gear 2, runs horrible...why?
This is a discussion about Heavy Gear 2, runs horrible...why? in the Windows Games category; My friend just came over and I installed Heavy Gear II, and it installed smoothly, runs fine, but when it comes to actual gameplay, it will just pause out of nowhere and its really pissin me off. . .
My friend just came over and I installed Heavy Gear II, and it installed smoothly, runs fine, but when it comes to actual gameplay, it will just pause out of nowhere and its really pissin me off....I had to use whistler compatibility to get it to run however.......how can I get it to run smoothly.....anybody know? No Driver updates or anything "neato" like that, must be the most unsupported game of all time.........................................................................................................................anyway...........................

what are your friend's system specs? Are they as identical as yours? Is he running windows 2000 as well? Same motherboard and chipset? Did you install service pack 2? The AMD registry patch, the VIA 4 in 1 drivers?

hehe he came over so um......we were on my computer and yes I have all updates and patches play all other games good, its just heavey gear 2..
