HELP Accidently deleted all files in my prefetch directory
This is a discussion about HELP Accidently deleted all files in my prefetch directory in the Windows Software category; I must have misread the tweak. now i get errors everytime I try to run anything. The errors say something about pre-writing error and data is lost. .

You can delete everything in your Prefetch folder without causing any harm, I do on a regular basis. Some people have told of losing their Prefetch folder completely after installing SP1.

well i have kinda gotten my computer back working. no more errors. hmm maybe it was one of the other tweaks I did. Thx
