help I have WindowsMe

I need help fixing my sisters computer. It seems she had a trojan virus, we have moved it to a vault but all her icons and web pages has shifted off the screen to the left and up. We can't seem to fix this problem.

Right click on the screen, select Arrange Icons By->Auto Arrange

I tried that but it still did not move them on the screen. The auto arrange is checked. It didn't do anything. Any other things I can try? Thank you
