Help intalling Red Alert 1 on XP

This is a discussion about Help intalling Red Alert 1 on XP in the Windows Games category; I know there are a lot of topics about installing Red Alert on XP, but my case is different. When I click install, the disk spins and the cursor shows the hourglass, but after a few seconds, nothing happens.

I know there are a lot of topics about installing Red Alert on XP, but my case is different. When I click install, the disk spins and the cursor shows the hourglass, but after a few seconds, nothing happens. What can I do to start the installation?

Try copying the CD to your hard drive and running from there.
