I have the same gamepad, on the cd there should have been a small aplication that lets you change button assignments. I forget the name of the application because I have stoped using the gamepad, I have dubbed it a waste of money.
I use it on my SNES Emulators and I have button assignment problems with it to. But because I got it on sale for like 15 dollars, I just bit my loss and moved on.
